I have always loved the number 13. I know…it’s supposed to be an unlucky number…the stuff of bad horror movie legend. But, there is just a nice ring to it, I was born on the 13th day of the month and it seems to have a bit of extra luck in it. As entrepreneurs, we could all use a bit of extra luck, so welcome to a quick summary of the 13 most important traits needed to be a successful entrepreneur. Sure, I know there are a lot more. And, sure I know that I have left some out but that was more by choice than by an error of omission (for example: an appetite for risk is often cited but an entrepreneur is a risk minimizer not a risk maximizer).
